UI Replication to Concept Exploration
A collection of early UI explorations that shaped my foundation as a designer.
From pixel-perfect replication to building structured platform concepts, this journey reflects how my design thinking evolved over time.
01
The Foundation – Learning by Recreating
At the beginning of my design journey, I focused on recreating existing interfaces to strengthen my fundamentals.
This phase helped me understand:
Layout systems
Spacing discipline
Typography hierarchy
Component consistency
Visual alignment
What started as copying slowly became structured understanding.
02
Spotify – Precision & Component Thinking
Spotify was my earliest full UI replication.
The goal was to recreate the interface exactly as it existed.
Through this, I learned:
Dark theme balance
Navigation structure
Card-based layouts
Building reusable components
Maintaining visual consistency
This project sharpened my eye for detail and introduced me to systematic UI building.
Growth Point: I moved from just placing elements to understanding structure.
03
Galaxy – Exploring Visual Confidence
With Galaxy, a movie ticket booking concept, I continued working with dark themes but experimented more confidently.
I focused on:
Ticket-style card components
Seat selection layout
Improved spacing
Better contrast choices
Although still inspired by existing apps, my visual decisions became more intentional.
Growth Point: My understanding of color and hierarchy began improving.
04
Taste Trek – First Creative Experiment
Taste Trek marked my transition from pure replication to creative experimentation.
I designed:
A food delivery interface
A custom logo
Splash screens
Unique food cards
Basic interaction flows
While my color selection was still developing, this project helped me understand:
UI states
Prototyping
Flow transitions
Component variations
Growth Point: I started thinking beyond visuals and into interactions.
Academy – Thinking in Systems
Academy was my attempt to design a complete web platform.
I conceptualized:
Course listings
E-library
Student testimonials
Teacher job vacancies
Application flows
The visual design was simple, but the thinking matured.
I began designing for:
Multiple user roles
Information hierarchy
Structured platform flow
Content organization
Growth Point: I shifted from designing screens to designing systems.
Reflection – From Replication to Design Thinking
Looking back, these projects represent the foundation of my design journey.
Through replication, experimentation, and structured exploration, I learned:
Design is built on systems
Consistency creates clarity
Interaction shapes experience
Growth happens through practice
This evolution reflects not just improved visuals, but a stronger design mindset that shapes my current work today.
